Just what are Steve’s CNC Cut Barrels about?

Well to produce the best replacement or custom made barrel sets in the world today; made on a Computer Controlled Micro Lathe; this Lathe was designed by me (Steve) to make brass barrels; and the best scale barrels available

I start with a CAD drawing made up from the best sources I can find at the time of design; however if new information is found after I reserve the right to improve the design or sizes etc

These drawings are full scale; just like the real ships gun

Then the drawing is scaled to the correct factor for the scale to be made in brass; if there was a 35mm step in full scale; the step in 1/350^th would be 0.1mm

All steps and tapers plus correct lengths are cut faithfully by the lathe at scale; i.e. if the muzzle flared on the real ship the barrel will flare at 1/350^th or whatever scale the barrel is made in

Bores are drilled to the scale size; or the very closest drill size to scale

I can make custom barrels as well as regular replacements for the shapeless sticks found in most kits; email me a drawing of your needs; be it a never built ship or even a self designed kit/model; I’ll be happy to quote you a good price for the barrels; the drawing and programming time is not included in the price (try to get that deal at your local machine shop)

After cut to size and parted off the barrels are inspected several times to avoid and leaving with defects; however mistakes can and do happen in this world and if you get a barrel that’s not up to the standard of the rest in the pack; a replacement will be sent free of charge
